BoardingElkhorn Equestrian Center is one of the finest long term and overnight horse boarding facilities in Nebraska.
Thank you for considering boarding at Elkhorn Equestrian Center! Our upscale facility offers several options for boarding and we pride ourselves on getting things done and being able to please our customers whenever we can. Please review our welcome letter for additional information prior to submitting your application and other boarding forms. We currently only offer month to month boarding with no extra fee. A signed boarding contract will be required prior to arrival. Thank you!
Long-Term Boarding
We feed only the highest quality Purina grains as well as brome and alfalfa hays twice daily. Our facilities include individual stalls with rubber mats and fresh shavings, multiple safe pens for daily turnout, a 100 x 200 arena, a large 150’x 300’ outdoor arena, a 75’x 125’ smaller outdoor arena, smaller 70’x70’ indoor arena, three round pens, and a 3/4 mile racetrack. We provide daily stall cleaning 6 days a week and group turnout on grass as weather permits. Supplements supplied by the owner will be administered. Additional feeds are available at owner’s expense.
We have 91 heated stalls on this facility ranging from 10×12, 11×12, & 12×12 stalls as well as outside dry lots. We also have several areas to ride your horse outside and inside. Turn Out 6 days a week (weather permitting), Individual Tack Closets and a nice warm arena in the winter.
Horses that are in stalls will be turned out to p six days a week as weather permits. Dry lot horses are provided with an outside shelter, auto waters and fed twice a day. No round bales are fed to our horses.

Overnight Boarding
Our facility would love to welcome you and your horse for overnight boarding! Whether you are looking for a place for your horse to rest or a place to work your horse prior to an event, this is the place for you.
Our facility has several stalls to choose from that are listed below:
- 12×12 stalls
- 11×14 stalls
- 14×14 stalls
- 10×10 stalls
We charge $75 per horse per night. We require a 24 hour notice of cancellation or there will be a 50% cancellation charge if stalls have already been prepped and ready. We provide all stalls with auto water and shavings. Additional shavings are available for purchase AT $13.00 per wheelbarrow. You are more than welcome to use our facility to work your horse at a small fee of $45.00 per day. You will also have designated turn out areas for just your horse while you are visiting our facility.

Please Note: The reason for this application is to find the most compatible boarder possible with the barn and other boarders. Everyone wants a barn they can enjoy, and this application could keep unwanted horses (sick or aggressive) out of the stable. Your application can be sent years in advance, if you so choose, to reserve a stall, or dry lot spot. All applications are considered on first come, first served basis.
